for the german tv show sportschau thema

the best known german television sports show „sportschau“ created a spin-off „sportschau thema“. This 60 minute format, a mix of discussion rounds and short documentaries, shines due to its critical and investigative nature and presents sport insights one normally does not get. 

To highlight the content of the show we developed a brand concept that is based on a yellow square that displays typography on black and white photos or movie sequences. Rather than hiding text in the corners of the screen we chose to let it interact and support all the elements of the television show in energetic and highly dynamic animations.
