the sport documentary unparteiisch takes a closer look at germany’s top soccer referees. director tom häussler aims at capturing every detail of their lives over the timespan of one complete football season within five episodes.
our design approach was to keep it simple while staying as close to the referees as possible. this resulted in a creative concept that only uses the colors yellow, red, white and black, a typography which includes circular letters and a design grid that is based on a soccer field.
